Soon after graduating from Queen’s University in 2004, Jay decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and open a small business. With hard work and dedication, he has been able to help Advantage Flooring become one of the best hardwood floor suppliers and installers in the Ottawa area.

Extensive experience in full-cycle recruitment, full-cycle payroll, event promotion, digital marketing, and customer relationship management, ensuring the engagement of diverse audiences effectively and foster long-term client relationships. Proven ability to design and implement strategic marketing and recruitment campaigns. Has successfully enhanced organizational outreach while embedding DEI principles into every aspect of her work, while being an expert in building client relationships and enhancing customer service delivery. Rohan Shiraz Surani is an experienced management professional with over a decade of expertise across various industries. Known for his innovation and entrepreneurial mindset, he excels in business operations, finance, and management. With strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, Rohan effectively navigates competitive markets and adapts to evolving business challenges. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the Telfer School of Management (University of Ottawa) to further enhance his strategic and leadership capabilities.

Sara Zarouri

Project Manager

Sara Zarouri is a professional estimator and project manager with 6 years of experience in the industry. She has a track record of hundreds of successful projects from residential and commercial jobs in Ontario and Atlantic Canada. She is trained in NWFA and has experience in inspections. Sara has moved to Ottawa just recently and is excited to continue her career here and help customers with their projects. Fun fact, she will be very happy if you have pets who greet her during her estimates 🙂
